Welcome to our THET Online Safeguarding Training.

We recognise that many of you will already have substantial experience in safeguarding. This training will be a refresher for those who previously attended THET Safeguarding Training and an induction to all new colleagues. THET has a clear commitment to protecting people and the environment from harm, abuse, and neglect. Annual safeguarding refresher trainings are vital to ensure all staff are aware of how to prevent, report and respond to a safeguarding concern. Hence, even if you are familiar with THET safeguarding policies, we ask you pay attention.

Before accessing a course, you must sign up to the platform. You can do this by clicking Login and then 'Create a New Account'. You will then be asked to complete an application form and receive an email with a link to complete your sign up. Once completed, you can login and start your course under 'My Courses'.

Yes, you can also download a mobile app version which allows you to complete your course offline. When you next have an internet connection, any completed material will be uploaded to the system.

1) Once downloaded, access the app and it will ask you for your site. Enter the following link:

2) Then click the pencil icon which says 'Connect to your site'.

3) If you have already joined the platform, enter your login details and click login. If you are yet to sign up, click 'Create New Account' and fill out the details.

4) You will then be sent an email with a link asking you to complete your sign up and you will be directed back to the app to access your course.

5) Select 'Available Courses' and enroll in the course that you would like to complete.
